About DestructiveDevices.com

Founded in 2009 in Paris, Tennessee, DestructiveDevices.com is a specialized manufacturer and supplier of destructive devices, complete mortar systems, legacy artillery weapon systems, large-bore military equipment, and hard-to-find components. Our customers include qualified U.S. citizens, defense contractors, military training companies, U.S. government customers, and organizations that require precision manufacturing, technical knowledge, and professional support within a highly regulated industry.

As our name indicates, destructive devices are our primary focus. The term “Destructive Device” is a defined legal category under U.S. federal law, not simply a descriptive phrase. Under the National Firearms Act, the term generally includes certain explosive, incendiary, or poison-gas devices, as well as certain weapons capable of expelling a projectile by explosive or propellant action when the bore exceeds one-half inch in diameter, subject to specific statutory exceptions. The definition also includes certain combinations of parts from which a destructive device may be readily assembled.

Our core specialization is complete mortar systems ranging from 50mm to 120mm. A mortar system is typically made up of four major components: the baseplate, barrel, receiver, and bipod assembly. While these components are often produced by multiple contractors within the traditional defense manufacturing supply chain, DestructiveDevices.com is one of the few companies in the United States that manufactures and sells complete mortar systems from a single specialized source.

We also offer legacy artillery weapon systems, including anti-tank guns, anti-aircraft guns, and other large-bore military platforms. These systems require a rare combination of historical knowledge, technical capability, regulatory experience, and specialized manufacturing resources. Our work supports continued lawful access to weapon systems, components, and services that are often unavailable through ordinary commercial channels.

Our manufacturing capabilities include state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC turning and milling, advanced computer-aided design and manufacturing software, and precision inspection using coordinate measuring machines. This allows us to manufacture complex components, maintain tight tolerances, verify critical dimensions, and deliver the highest level of quality possible. From legacy weapon-system components to complete mortar systems, our process is built around precision, repeatability, accountability, and integrity.

DestructiveDevices.com has operated for the past 17 years as a Type 10 FFL / Class 2 SOT manufacturer of destructive devices. We also hold a Type 21 Federal Explosives Manufacturer’s License and are registered with the U.S. Department of State, operating with full compliance regarding applicable ITAR regulations. Regulated items are sold, manufactured, transferred, exported, or otherwise handled only in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulatory requirements.

Our mission is to deliver the highest-quality components, systems, and support for weapon platforms and parts that often cannot be found anywhere else. We support qualified U.S. citizens, the U.S. military, defense contractors, military training companies, and the broader defense logistics community through specialized manufacturing, technical knowledge, precision workmanship, and a commitment to integrity.

DestructiveDevices.com is built on a firm belief in the Second Amendment and the founding fathers’ concept of armament parity: the principle that the citizenry should not be placed at a permanent arms disadvantage to the government it created. We believe this idea remains an important part of America’s constitutional tradition, especially for qualified, law-abiding citizens who choose to own historically significant and legally transferable arms. In today’s regulated environment, we pursue that mission with responsibility, integrity, technical competence, and full compliance with applicable law.

Whether serving qualified U.S. citizens, defense contractors, training organizations, or government customers, our goal remains the same: to provide professional service, technically accurate products, precision manufacturing, and lawful access to some of the most specialized weapon systems and components in the United States.
