This listing is for one arsenal-sealed 20-round box of U.S. military M3 .30-06 Rifle Grenade Launching Cartridges. These original USGI cartridges were manufactured at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in 1954.
The box you receive will be sealed and unopened, like the box shown in the first photograph. The final four photographs show a separate opened box and are included only to illustrate the contents.

Original Military Rifle Grenade Cartridge
The M3 cartridge was developed specifically for launching rifle grenades from compatible .30-06 military rifles. Applications included the M1 Garand equipped with the appropriate M7-series rifle grenade launcher.
These are genuine Lake City-manufactured military cartridges. They should not be confused with modern commercial blanks marketed for rifle grenade launching. Original M3 cartridges were engineered for their intended military application.
Collector Condition
This sealed 20-round box is in near-mint collector condition. Its original packaging, 1954 Lake City production date, and unopened condition make it an excellent addition to a U.S. military ammunition, M1 Garand, or rifle grenade collection.
Opening or using the cartridges will permanently change their collector condition and value.
Important Safety Information
These cartridges are designed only for launching compatible rifle grenades from the correct firearm and launcher configuration. They must never be used as ordinary firearm blanks.
Do not substitute hot conventional blanks for purpose-built rifle grenade launching cartridges. Improper ammunition can create excessive pressure, damage the firearm, and cause serious injury or death.
Only use ammunition for its intended purpose and in a compatible, properly inspected firearm and launcher. Always follow applicable laws and established safety procedures. Wear appropriate eye and hearing protection.
