This newly manufactured 60mm M19 Mortar Cup (Receiver) is designed for compatible live-fire mortar systems. It provides a strong and historically correct replacement component for U.S. 60mm mortar platforms.
Precision-machined from 4140/4142 chrome-moly alloy steel, this receiver provides the strength, durability, and dimensional accuracy required for dependable service.
The mortar cup, commonly called the receiver, is a critical part of the mortar assembly. It connects with the compatible barrel, houses the firing components, and withstands repeated stresses during operation.
Modern machining methods help maintain the alignment, fit, and original geometry required for compatibility with M19-pattern components.

Historical Significance
The U.S. 60mm M19 Mortar was introduced during World War II as a development of the earlier M2 60mm mortar. The M2 was based on the influential French Brandt mortar design.
The M19 incorporated several changes, including the ability to operate in trigger-fire or conventional drop-fire configurations. Its lightweight design provided infantry units with portable and responsive fire support.
U.S. 60mm mortars could use high-explosive, smoke, illumination, and training ammunition. Their portability allowed infantry units to deploy indirect-fire support without relying entirely on heavier mortar or artillery systems.

Important Legal Notice
This M19 Mortar Cup is the firearm receiver and must be shipped to an FFL licensee in the buyer’s state. It is not sold as a registered destructive device. The receiver transfers as a standard Title 1 firearm receiver through the receiving dealer using ATF Form 4473 and any other required procedures.
If a compatible barrel has also been purchased, the barrel will not be shipped until we receive a copy of the buyer’s approved ATF Form 1 or other applicable registration documentation.
After receiving the receiver, the buyer must submit ATF Form 1, Application to Make and Register a Firearm, and receive approval before assembling the receiver with a compatible 60mm barrel as a destructive device.
Do not possess or control a compatible 60mm receiver and barrel at the same time unless the resulting mortar is properly registered or you are otherwise appropriately licensed under federal law.
All federal, state, and local laws apply. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the receiver and completed mortar are legal to purchase, possess, assemble, and use in the buyer’s location.
